What comes after remix?
Lev Manovich, an author of media theory and a professor of computer science, provides a bit of history in this text with what he calls the “remix culture” and discussing terms, such as: remix, appropriation, collage, montage, and mashup.
While working on this book design project, I cut three-inch squares into three different magazines and used that imagery to create a transparent book (a.k.a “remixing” the magazines).
